Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

Support the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects

Assist in managing project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders

Track project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance

Communicate regularly with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and accurate project delivery

Participate in onsite walkthroughs and coordination meetings

Help ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Contribute to problem-solving, issue resolution, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of commercial construction experience and a strong foundation in project documentation and coordination. They are organized, proactive, and eager to take on more responsibility as they grow into a full Project Manager role. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a working knowledge of construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project.
