This role, as part of the Global Markets and Development team, drives NHOA Americas business development and growth. The Business Development Manager reports to Vice President NHOA Americas.
This role is open to remote work within the US. The Opportunity The Business Development Manager role is a critical role for scaling NHOA Americas.
In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership of strategic pursuits across the utility-scale battery energy storage market, in line with the business’ growth strategy.
You will support to set the strategy to address the targeted markets. Key Responsibilities · You will execute the strategy for NHOA business development in the American market by prioritizing different ISOs and prospects · You will be responsible for building a solid pipeline of projects, balancing the effort on short term revenues generation and long-term strategic plan · You will identify, validate and develop opportunities and negotiate technical and commercial aspects with customers involving the required functions within NHOA organization · You will be working with ease in complex matrixed organizations and always seeking to finding new customers and partners, necessary to develop complex solutions within mid-long cycle projects · Proven experience in Battery Energy Storage and immediately recognizable as an expert in the field · Proven Experience in negotiation of EPC contracts in renewable industry · Strong and proven business development, commercial and sales background · Preferably engineering graduate having commercialized energy related equipment and / or solutions or other Graduate with experience in a technical environment · Entrepreneurial and commercial spirit and enthusiasm about the energy storage industry · Strong origination skills to be able to identify new opportunities and analytical skill set to develop them · A humble and hands-on solid team player with a collaborative and consultative approach comfortable in fast-paced working environment · Strong will to travel when required · Strong interpersonal skills, including good relationship building, communication and negotiation skills · Ambitious, self-motivated, enthusiastic, industrious, willing to learn and hardworking · Result-oriented with a strong ability to deliver · Curious by nature;
