The SLP will evaluate, and provide therapy services to clients with speech and / or language disorders, formulate individualized treatment programs, keep appropriate records, and inform relevant parties about the clients' progress.

Responsibilities : Provide SLP services to clients aged 2-8 years old Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs Help clients improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Maintain timely and accurate client records and reports to ensure client progress Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care Educate families on strategies for managing conditions and maximizing independence Skills : Enthusiastic personality that will engage children Strong client service skills, with the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care Ability to collaborate and communicate with BCBAs, BTs, parents, and clients in a positive and constructive way.

Experience working with pediatric clients is highly preferred Excellent organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with adults and children Ability to plan, manage, and evaluate curriculum Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required for recordkeeping and documentation Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation requirements Physical Requirements : Prolonged periods of standing and sitting throughout the home and / or classroom Must be able to lift to 45 pounds at a time Must be able to sit and stand on the floor throughout the day, and bend, kneel, or squat to be at eye level with clients Note : This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
