We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our financial management, reporting, and decision-making processes.
The Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of our accounting operations, including the production of financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Responsibilities :
As our Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
1. Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to : accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
3. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
4. Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting.
5. Researching technical accounting issues for compliance.
6. Supporting month-end and year-end close process.
7. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
8. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
9. Assisting with the formulation of the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
10. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager position will have the following qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration. A Master's degree in Accounting or a related field or a CPA is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field.
3. Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
4. Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
5. Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
6. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
7. High attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Ability to direct and supervise.
9. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
10. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment.
