Job Description :

A secure inpatient mental health facility near Anna, IL is seeking a Primary Care Physician (PCP) to join their team. The provider will be responsible for managing an average caseload of 40 patients, many of whom have no chronic medical issues. The role includes evaluating patients at intake, completing admissions, conducting initial physical exams (H&Ps), addressing chronic medical concerns, reconciling medications, and ordering and interpreting lab tests. The PCP will also be responsible for prescribing and monitoring medications, providing clinical direction to nursing staff, and participating in case evaluations and medical committee meetings. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule (6 : 30 AM - 3 : 00 PM) with flexibility and no weekend or holiday shifts.

Requirements :

• Current unrestricted Illinois Medical License
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal or Family Medicine
• Current Illinois Controlled Substance Certificate
• Current unrestricted DEA Certificate
• Mantoux skin test or documentation of a negative result within the past 90 days
• Clearance of required fingerprints and drug screening
