Overview

Position Summary : The Registered Dental Assistant under the supervision of a licensed dentist, provides assistance to the dental staff in the areas of oral surgery, prosthodontics, oral pathology, oral medicine, endodontics and orthodontics.

Employee will follow applicable policies and procedures in handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications : 2+ years experience as a Registered Dental Assistant required. Pediatric experience preferred.

Education / Licensure / Certifications : Graduation from an A.D.A. accredited program for dental assistants. Licensed by the California State Board of Dental Examiners as a Registered Dental Assistant, licensed to take radiographs and to perform Coronal Polishing.

Current AHA Basic Life Support (CPR) certification. Note : exposure to radiation from dental x-ray equipment.

Pay Scale Information

$37,232.00-$61,953.00

CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
