And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.

• Competitive pay :
• Average is $1,193-$1,346 per week / $62,000 - $70,000 per year
• Starting pay .54 cpm
• Average 1,992 miles per week
• $20 stop pay
• Average 5-6 stops per week (depending on route)
• Home daily, night shift position
• 5-day work week which could include a Saturday or Sunday
• Several bid assignments will also include a backhaul. During peak season(s) drivers could be expected to work a 6-day week if volume is higher than what can reasonably be delivered with a normal schedule
• The workweek starts Monday or Tuesday, depending on the load type. Route and responsibilities will be provided to the driver by site leadership
• A mix of reefer and dry van - reefer experience is not needed, training will be provided
• Hauling food products, miscellaneous goods, and furniture to customer's store locations in GA, AL, SC, Tallahassee FL
• 100% no-touch freight
• All driver job assignments are bid out twice per year, and will be done by company length of service CDL-A Dedicated Local Truck Driver Benefits :

• Drivers must live within a 60-mile radius
• Must have 4+ months' verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years OR 6 months in the past 5 years
• Drivers must have Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
• No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
• No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
• No serious violations within previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 year Essential functions :
• Open / Close Trailer Doors - force requirement : 46 lbs
• Count freight
• Complete fuel tickets
• Obtain sales leads
• Hook / Unhook trailer - force requirement : 90lbs(Class A Only)
• Perform pre-trip inspections
• Drive
• Regular predictable attendance
• Enter / Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
• Enter / Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
