Jovie Redmond, WA, USA Childcare Locations : Families in the greater Redmond area (98052) About the Role : Summary : Are you an experienced caregiver looking for a unique opportunity?
We are seeking two dedicated individuals (whether friends, family members, or a duo) to join our backup care and on-call childcare team, providing in-home care to families in the Redmond area.
As part of this role, you'll have access to subsidized housing for the duration of your employment. This is a great opportunity for caregivers who are reliable, energetic, and passionate about working with children, especially infants.
Job Duties : Providing backup and on-call childcare in family homes, primarily for infants and toddlers. Engaging children in age-appropriate activities such as playtime, reading, arts & crafts, and outdoor fun.
Handling daily caregiving needs : meal preparation, diapering, nap schedules, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
Assisting with light housekeeping duties related to childcare (e.g., tidying play areas, children's laundry). Coordinating with families to adapt to their specific needs while ensuring high-quality care.

Flexibility for as many overtime hours as desired. Housing Stipend Option : If you already live in the Redmond / Kirkland area, a housing stipend is available as an alternative to the provided apartment.
Qualifications : Childcare Experience : Both individuals must have prior experience working with children, particularly infants.
Certifications : CPR and First Aid certifications are required (or willingness to obtain before starting). Commitment : Reliable and able to meet the full-time schedule (40+ hours / week) with occasional on-call availability.
Adaptability : Comfortable working in various family homes and a multi-generational household setup. Probationary Period : There will be a trial period, with the possibility of transitioning to a longer-term lease based on performance.
Schedule : Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, 7am - 7pm, with weekends off. Pay : $21-23 an hour plus a housing stipend All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist.
