Together these facilities offer patients the best rehab and nursingcare they can obtain after their hospitaldischarge.

• Registered Nurse RN utilizes thenursing process in the care of designated Residents administersmedications & treatments to residents & doentsappropriately on igned nursing unit
• RegisteredNurse RN reports findings of ongoing observations / essments to thedesignated Charge Nurse Nursing Supervisor & / or UnitManager
• Registered Nurse RN demonstrateknowledge of basic test / lab collection values deliver directresident care consistent with the policies / procedures &Resident Bill of Rights in combination with demonstrated clinicalss / knowledge
• Registered Nurse RN willidentify / respond timely to patientconcerns / needs
• Registered Nurse RN demonstrateseffective interpersonal ss necessary to ensure appropriate qualitypatient care
• Prepare resident ignmentsconsidering the category of needs of the patient & competencyof personnel monitor / evaluate the flow of activity & deliveryof patient care provided (positioning bathing etc.

Is punctual and / or provides propernotification for lateness or absenteeism

Requirements :

• Graduate of an approved school ofnursing
• Licensed & registered in goodstanding in New York State as an Registered NurseRN
• Experience with geriatric patients isdesirable but not required.
• Sincere desire towork with the elderly chronically ill &disabled
• Possess a spirit of cooperation &enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation& growth
• Knowledge of medical social &psychological needs of residents general nursing theory &practice & infection preventionprinciples / ods
• Ability to communicate wellverbally with residents families &staff
