Overview
The Customer Loading Zone & Shopping Tools Associate ensures a seamless shopping experience by assisting customers in the loading zone and maintaining the availability and condition of shopping tools throughout the store.
This role is essential in enhancing the store’s reputation as a top-tier home furnishing destination.
Job Description
- Customer Assistance : Provides a friendly, safe, and efficient loading / unloading service for customers, keeping the loading area clean and free of excess materials.
- Shopping Tools Maintenance : Monitors and restocks all shopping tools (carts, baby strollers, pencils, yellow bags, maps, twine, etc.
throughout the store during business hours to maintain high availability.
- End-of-Day Readiness : Ensures all shopping tools are fully stocked at closing for the following business day.
- Condition Monitoring : Regularly inspects physical and digital shopping tools, reporting IT issues and removing any unsafe items.
- Customer Problem-Solving : Addresses customer needs independently, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Additional Customer Service Support : Assists other service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, and Click & Collect as needed to enhance the customer experience.

- Basic problem-solving skills and judgment to determine when to escalate issues
- Flexibility to assist in various customer service areas within the store
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
