Summary :

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for building lasting relationships with customers and the Comfort Design Heating & Air Conditioning team through excellent communications.

This position will engage in contact with customers in our local communities to schedule service, maintenance, or new installation appointments.

Essential Job Duties :

• Schedules and dispatches technicians or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs
• Operates and manages a multi-line telephone system, prioritizing and organizing calls according to urgency
• Relays information to and from customers, technicians, management, or other interested parties
• Manages work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, and other information
• Updates customers throughout the day on the technician’s progress
• Ensures a quality customer experience by relaying detailed and accurate information to the technicians in the field
• Maintain and update call logs, call records and other important documentation.

• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas related to policies and procedures and provide guidance to management and employees verbally and in writing
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
• Regular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of dispatching experience
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications (not required) :

Experience with the following software applications : ServiceTitan or Google Suite

Physical Demands :

• Ability to operate computer, phone and other office equipment as needed
• Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time
• Ability to sit / stand at workstation for extended periods of time
• Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
