Company has been a family-owned business since 1976 providing ice cream and other products to local grocery stores and other end users.
Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for a Local Truck Driver CDL B Route Delivery to work in our facility within 30 miles Fridley, MN.
Compensation
- Hourly pay $24 .00 / hour
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
- Typical work week is 45-50 hours per week
- Bi-weekly paychecks

Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, some weekends as needed
- Start times vary, typically between 5 : 00am-7 : 30am, work until work is completed
- Touch freight delivery; driver unload using 2-wheel hand-cart and lift-gate.
- Merchandising activities : stocking freezers, rotating product, and facing product.
- 401K with company match
- Work scheduled may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule.
- Some vacation coverage for route drivers, some overnights may be needed.
Responsibilities
- Drive CDL trucks to transport products to specific route destinations
- Deliver, merchandise, and sell products to accounts
- Touch freight, using 2-wheel hand-cart, dolly and lift gate to load and unload trucks
- Provide excellent customer service
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
- Reporting maintenance / repair issues on straight truck
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of verifiable CDL B experience
- Foodservice and / or beverage route delivery experience required including merchandising : stocking, rotating, etc.
- Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver s License, with air brakes endorsement.
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
