Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in managing contracts and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation, along with excellent organizational skills. As a Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting business development initiatives and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met efficiently.  Direct hire  Offering $24-28 / hr.  Located in Fresno, CA

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to execution, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
  • Oversee procurement processes and vendor management to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct thorough document management and records management to maintain accurate and accessible contract files.
  • Provide support for business development activities through proposal writing and strategic planning.
  • Utilize ERP systems and Salesforce for tracking contract performance and vendor relationships.
  • Conduct research as needed to support contract negotiations and pricing strategies.
  • Facilitate the use of DocuSign for electronic signatures on contracts.
  • Assist in technical writing related to contract specifications and requirements.

Requirements

  • 2 + years of proven experience in contract management, legal drafting, document review, and negotiation.
  • Strong understanding of compliance management principles and federal regulations.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, purchasing strategies, and vendor management practices.
  • Knowledge of contractor management practices within a business environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for effective records management.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems such as PeopleSoft and Salesforce for tracking contracts and vendor interactions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
