Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting operations including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and reporting packages
- Ensure accurate, timely, and consistent financial records across all areas of the business
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Provide support in preparing reports for senior leadership by compiling and organizing financial data
- Prepare tax documents, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements
- Work closely with executive leadership to manage expense reports and handle invoicing for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and assist with audits as needed
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to aid in cost reduction and profitability improvement
