Special Education Substitute Teacher - Early Childhood

We are hiring Early Childhood Special Education Teachers in the West Covina Area for an immediate start. This role is full-time and can lead to opportunities for work as a full time school teacher.

Zen Educate is looking for certified substitute teachers who are passionate about teaching and positively contributing to children’s lives.

This is a great opportunity to build experience and build relationships with multiple schools in your community. You will also gain exposure to a broad range of teaching styles and behavior management principles.

Key Duties :

• Aid students in meeting their individualized education plan (IEP)
• Use effective oral and written expression
• Assist in the ongoing curriculum articulation and review process
• Provide student progress reports
• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Maintaining a safe learning environment
• Works with individuals and / or small groups
• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the students’ learning experiences and support them as needed

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• Early Childhood Special Education

Preferred Requirements :

• Master's Degree
• Accredited Teacher Preparation Program

Additional Requirements :
