Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems and Software Quality Engineer Associate Manager for a position in Orlando, FL to lead and perform several key areas of responsibility within the Software Quality Engineering discipline in alignment with AS9100 Quality Management System, Capability Maturity Model-Integrated (CMMI), Program and Customer .
The candidate should be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of Software Quality Engineering and Test Engineering.
The role requires managing and interfacing with software and cyber personnel, test and evaluation personnel, program and project managers and DCMA.
Candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience with quality principles for the development and use of software and software-based from through sell off including an understand of source code.
Must also have an in depth understanding of Test Engineering / Test Equipment, solving complex problems and technical solutions.
Travel may be required to support program activities.
Desired skills
- Hands-on experience with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SaFE, etc.)
- ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) and / or other quality disciplines regulation
- Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with Government customers
- Understanding electro-mechanical engineering drawing requirements with the ability to identify inspection methods and required tooling.
