job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCapture professional-level product and lifestyle photography for use across campaigns, e-commerce, and media. Coordinate photoshoots, edit images, and manage Ruff Land’s photo library. Support with video content creation and editing for web and social channels. Create and schedule engaging social media content aligned with brand voice and strategy. Monitor engagement, respond to community interactions, and track performance metrics. Support storytelling efforts through short-form video, reels, and interactive content. Assist with website maintenance—updating visuals, product imagery, and promotional graphics. Design and produce email campaigns, ensuring visuals align with brand and campaign goals. Support A / B testing of creative assets to improve performance. Partner with the rest of the marketing team to ensure deadlines are met and assets are delivered to vendors, media partners, and internal stakeholders on time. Provide creative input for campaigns, sponsorships, and promotions. Act as the go-to resource for creative problem-solving across departments. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2–5 years of professional experience in graphic design, photography, or creative content roles. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere / After Effects a plus). Experience managing social media content creation and engagement. Working knowledge of website CMS platforms and email marketing tools. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on deadlines. A creative eye with a passion for storytelling and visual design. Comfortable capturing content in dynamic environments (trade shows, outdoor shoots, product testing). Strong communication skills with the ability to present creative ideas and receive feedback. Organized, proactive, and self-motivated with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. Experience in the outdoor, pet, or lifestyle industries is a plus as well as a comfort level being around a variety of animals and in hunting environments. Why Ruff Land? Creative Specialist – Graphic Design & Photography Job Description
About Ruff Land At Ruff Land, we build rugged, reliable products for life’s adventures—and we need creative storytelling that matches our durability and spirit. We’re looking for a versatile creative professional who can capture, design, and deliver compelling visuals across multiple platforms.
Role & Summary
The Creative Specialist will serve as the in-house expert for all things visual and creative. This role will lead graphic design, product and lifestyle photography, and creative content development. Beyond design, the Creative Specialist will support RuffLand’s broader marketing efforts through social media content creation, website updates, email campaigns, and other creative projects. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role that brings Ruff Land’s brand to life in both digital and physical environments.
