Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team in Pittsburgh, PA. As an Echo Tech, you will be an integral part of our cardiology department, performing echocardiograms to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct echocardiographic examinations, including transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and related diagnostic tools to capture accurate images of the heart and surrounding structures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret echocardiogram results and provide preliminary findings.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to established protocols and standards for quality assurance and patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in echocardiography and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements :

• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting various types of echocardiograms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and providing compassionate care.
