Requirements

  • Graduate of American Medical Association approved two (2) year program for Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as Staff Radiology Technologist; comparable hospital setting preferred.
  • Current New York State Licensed in Radiologic Technology
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Preferred
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
  • Knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic equipment in use with the department and satellite areas.
  • Knowledge of Radiology drugs, i.e. contrast media, bowel preps, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service .
  • Time Management Skills
  • Basic computer and data entry skills

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing all routine radiographic procedures in the main department and all satellite areas.
