As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders and contribute to their overall educational development.

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate students for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans to meet individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to integrate speech therapy with educational goals.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide recommendations for speech therapy goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Current Texas SLP license or eligibility.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
