Job Overview
Join us as a Laundry Maintenance Engineer at Grand Casino Mille Lacs & Hinckley. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all building structures, finishes, fixtures, and machines within our Grindstone Laundry facility.
Responsibilities
- Promptly addresses daily work orders in accordance with company requirements, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinates and communicates effectively with appropriate management to implement tasks and adhere to designated timelines.
- Ensures the proper utilization of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions outlined in Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Maintains strict adherence to all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety rules and regulations.
- Undertakes responsibility for the repair and routine maintenance of company buildings, components, mechanical equipment, and maintains updated replacement inventory.
- Assumes accountability for the cleanliness and overall condition of the laundry facility during task execution.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Ensures compliance with all service standards, policies, and procedures.
- Interacts with laundry technicians, customers, and other department associates in a respectful, professional, and courteous manner.
- Must possess a valid driver's license when required to operate a company vehicle.
- Performs any additional duties as assigned by management that are related to this role.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in laundry / production maintenance or equivalent combinations of vocational education and on-the-job training.Possession of a 2nd Class B Engineer License is required.Low Pressure Boiler License or obtain the license within 6 months of employment.Preferred Qualities
