Recreational Therapist (CTRS) Care Resources
No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays!!
Care Resources is seeking a Full-Time Recreational Therapist to aid our team in providing meaningful activities to enhance and enrich the lives of the Care Resources participants who attend the all-inclusive day center.
Key responsibilities include :
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate therapeutic and social activities for our participants
Complete the required documentation in the electronic medical record
Coordinates work of the Recreation Therapy Assistants to aid in activities
Requirements :
Requires knowledge normally acquired through a bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation Therapy
Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC)
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, participants, families, and the general public in the exchange of information and to handle situations in a courteous, tactful, and respectful manner
Experience working with frail to elderly populations is preferable
Self-motivated and organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
Schedule :
Full-Time, Monday - Friday
8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm
No Weekends, Holidays, or Evenings required
Wages and Benefits :
Wage Range : $21.14 - $24.29 an hour (Wage depends on relevant years of experience and skills)
