Distribution Technician (Full-Time)

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Technician to join our team at the Plainfield Distribution Center. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring pharmaceutical products are picked, packed, and shipped accurately to sales representatives, wholesalers, and retailers. Our technicians rotate across multiple warehouse functions, making flexibility and teamwork essential.
What You'll Do
Pick, Pack, and Ship Orders
Use RF scanners to interact with the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Pick products by scanning license plates and follow validated packing procedures.
Perform weight checks, consolidate shipments, and prepare packing lists and shipping labels.
Ensure Compliance & Safety
Follow all FDA and OSHA requirements.
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
Stay Current on Training
Complete all assigned training in your Individual Training Plan (ITP) on time.
Drive Continuous Improvement
Look for ways to improve productivity, accuracy, and compliance in daily operations.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent.
35 years warehouse experience.
Hands-on experience with SAP or similar WMS and RF scanning devices.
2+ years operating pallet jacks and stand-up Powered Industrial Trucks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Dependable with a proven track record of good attendance.
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
Flexible, cross-trainable, and willing to work overtime on short notice.
Comfortable working part of the shift in chilled environments (3646F).
Physically able to stand, lift up to 40 lbs, and bend as needed.
No known allergies to antibiotics.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $17.30 - $34.38. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees.
