About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technologist Job Specialty : Scrub Technologist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday - Friday, day shifts with shared call Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years required License : License information not provided, insert if necessary Certifications : Current BLS required Must-Have : Proof of a negative TB test taken in the 12 months prior to the contract start date Job Description : Perform a variety of tasks under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields in the operating room.- Assist in preparing patients for surgery and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
- Assist surgical team during operative procedures.- Manage specimens collected for analysis.- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain organization in the surgical environment.
- Provide postoperative support and complete necessary documentation.- Orthopedic surgery experience is desirable.Application to this role will require a quick start, given position urgency.
Shared call and some evening and weekend availability are required.
