Minimum 2+ years surgical tech / operating room experience required.
Position : Travel Surgical Tech
Location : Santa Fe, NM
Shift : Five 8-hour shifts per week
On-Call : 1-2 call nights per week and 1-2 24-hour weekend call shifts per schedule
Requirements :
- Experience : Trauma Level 1 and / or Level 2 experience required
- Specialties : Must have robotics and orthopedic experience
- Call Experience : Must have prior call experience
- Certifications : NBSTSA or NCCT certification, BLS required
- Skills : Knowledge of care and handling of instruments and equipment, knowledge of sterilization and cleansing procedures
Responsibilities :
- Assist with surgical procedures in various specialties
- Maintain sterility and manage surgical instruments and equipment
- Provide support during trauma and orthopedic procedures
- Respond to on-call duties as scheduled
