The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles. This role requires expertise in diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable for operation
Pay : $45-50 / hour DOE
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Conduct inspections and safety checks to identify issues and prevent future problems
- Test drive vehicles to assess performance and verify repairs
- Complete accurate and detailed repair records and documentation
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively with supervisors
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies in diesel engine systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and proper storage of tools and equipment

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
