LITIGATION ATTORNEY

We have positions available in both our Irvine and San Diego offices. We are seeking associates for our litigation practice group to handle general liability cases including, commercial, and umbrella policies, involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, HOA, in a fast-paced and highly demanding atmosphere.
Job duties include :
- Handling cases from preparing responsive pleadings to trial
- Propounding and responding to discovery,
- Medical record review / summaries,
- Conducting depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts,
- Attend court hearings,
- Prepare motions / oppositions,
- Prepare case status reports to carriers
- Trial preparation.
Qualifications : Prior insurance defense experience is preferred but not required. Must be driven, self-starter, and able to independently manage a caseload.
- An ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years of experience with strong litigation skills, including discovery, conducting depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation background.
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Reliable and able to work a caseload independently under the supervision of a firm partner
- We are willing to train the right individual.
- Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills are a must.
