• Position Summary :

We are looking for skilled and experienced Machine Shop Welders to join our team at United Trades of America. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in welding and fabrication, with a strong commitment to quality and safety. This role involves welding and assembling components to manufacture industrial chains.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Perform welding operations according to industry standards and client specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble components to produce industrial chains.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Qualifications :
• High school diploma or GED; welding certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Working Conditions :
• This position requires standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Exposure to welding fumes, heat, and noise.
