Position Overview : Trophy Point Investment Group is seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven Property & Bad Debt Disposition Specialist to oversee the management and disposition of property and bad debt as a full-time contractor.

The Property & Bad Debt Disposition Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize the recovery of bad debts and effectively manage property dispositions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Property Disposition : Manage the process of disposing of properties acquired through foreclosure or other means, including evaluating property values, developing disposition strategies, and coordinating with real estate agents and auction houses.
• Bad Debt Recovery : Develop and implement strategies for the recovery of bad debts, including negotiating settlements, working with collection agencies, and pursuing legal remedies when necessary.
• Asset Management : Oversee the management and maintenance of properties in inventory, ensuring they are secured, maintained, and prepared for sale or other disposition methods.
• Financial Analysis : Conduct financial analysis and modeling to determine the optimal strategies for property disposition and bad debt recovery.

Evaluate potential losses and gains, and recommend actions to maximize recoveries.

• Reporting : Prepare and present regular reports on property dispositions and bad debt recovery efforts, including performance metrics, recovery rates, and recommendations for improvements.
• Compliance : Ensure all disposition and recovery activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Vendor Management : Manage relationships with external vendors, including real estate agents, property managers, and collection agencies, to support effective property sales and debt recovery.
• Process Improvement : Continuously assess and improve processes related to property disposition and bad debt recovery to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Client Interaction : Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and resolve issues related to property and debt management.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in property management, asset disposition, or debt recovery, with a focus on bad debt and real estate.
• Proven track record of successfully managing property dispositions and recovering bad debts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess financial data and make strategic decisions.
• Proficiency in asset management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, maintaining productivity and high-quality standards.
