Job Title : Medical Billing Software Product Specialist

Location : Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid, must be willing to relocate to Phoenix, AZ to be considered)

Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Software Product Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This candidate will assist with software product development for specifically the authorization and billing components. You will work closely with the product team as well as, sales and marketing team.

Key Responsibilities :

Translate and document billing workflows
Eventually, translate and document all workflows
Write clear, structured business requirements based on client feedback and internal discussions
Collaborate with product and the development team to validate requirements and support implementation
Perform functional testing of new features and updates to ensure accuracy and usability
Answer questions and provide insights based on your billing experience

Requirements

5+ years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management

Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, and payer requirements

Experience writing business requirements or process documentation

Familiarity with software testing practices (e.g., functional testing, user acceptance testing)

Familiarity with EMR / EHR systems and healthcare software platforms

Proficiency with remote meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)

Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage scheduling

Comfortable speaking to small groups and explaining concepts clearly
