Technical Operations Specialist - Work from home

TEKsystems has a client that has an opening for a Technical Operations Specialist. *Job duties : *

• Perform daily shift duties required for operations : Monitor job schedule, perform transports, switch objects, tape restores, inventory jobs and printing, BW reports, TNT reports, Robot schedule and reports, tape management, PKMS jobs and support, monitor all system backups, and SAP job schedule monitoring
• Maintains documentation of operator procedures; monitors and maintains service delivery levels, focusing on reliability, availability and serviceability.
• Distributes reports to customers; uses standard methods and processes to complete project tasks; assists team members with problem resolution related to application use.
• Participates in disaster recovery and execution.
• Participates effectively on project teams.
• Participate in change management processes and provide audit requested data.
• AS-400 : Job Audits, server monitoring, logs, and user accounts.
• SAP Job Audits, editing, configuration, and transports.
• Permission management for Active Directory and AS400.
• Report any vulnerabilities found within the Operations Team, including vulnerabilities not found on automated scans.
• Knowledge Base Management and Administration for ServiceNow.
• Technical Documentation for Operations Team for training and business continuity. Including publishing and graphics.*Skills : *Active Directory, AS400, System Backups, SAP Job Schedule Monitoring, ServiceNow*Additional Skills & Qualifications : *
• Associates Degree or degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• SAP ERP job schedule experience a plus
• IBM iSeries experience a plus
• 1+ years of experience in technical operations or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of PC.
• Able to work 12 hour shifts and some holidays.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships.
