Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen operations in our vibrant restaurant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, quality, and providing an exceptional dining experience.
This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, to ensure a cohesive and efficient team.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
- Develop and implement menus that highlight seasonal ingredients while considering customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked and organized.
- Monitor food costs and labor expenses, implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to food quality or service, resolving issues in a professional manner.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and efficient workspace.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
