JobDescription :

The ITProject Manager role within DSC Information Management (IM)supports the definition and successful completion of IM projects.

This project support includes requirements gathering requirementsdocumentation systems testing project plan creation taskassignments project leadership project schedule maintenance andproject status communication.

This role includes the creation andmaintenance of a portfolio of existing and potential projects forDSC.

Qualifications :

  • MinimumEducation : Bachelor s Degree. PMP certificationrequired.
  • MinimumExperience : 5 years of IT Project ManagementExperience.
  • 5years of project management experience leading Agile developmentteams.
  • 5years of experience requirements gathering requirements workshopfacilitation and requirementsdocumentation.
  • 5years of experience performing systems analysis including systemsdesign testing andintegration.
  • Experiencewith MS Projectpreferred.

PerformanceRequirements :

  • Createsplans using a WBS task dependencies schedules and critical path.
  • Theproject manager will work with other DSC IM team members to defineand estimate tasks collect task completion status maintain theschedule and communicate project status to the project team andmanagement.
  • Leadsprojects using agile methodologies including the facilitation ofsprint meetings.
  • Createsand maintains system roadmaps project plans and product and releasebacklogs that will be the basis for the project work.
  • This rolewill collect highlevel requirements from the Product Owner andcommunicate them to the Agile team.
  • The rolewill work together with the team to develop and estimate userstories and establish acceptance criteria which will specifyexpected functionality for a user story as well as anynonfunctional requirements that must be met in the development ofthestory.
  • Gathersand documents requirements for projects.
  • Facilitatesrequirements gathering workshops and prototyping sessions whereneeded. Produces requirements documentation appropriate for theproject management methodology beingused.
  • PerformSystems analysis and create systems design alternatives forprojects that include new applications enhancements to existingsystems and system integration projects.

Assist in the developmentof data models interface element mapping and systems testing whenrequired.
