Summary
We are an authentic Montessori School located at Alma School / Elliot Road in Chandler, AZ.
We are seeking an energetic, creative, reliable, and skilled teacher's assistant to work with children between the ages of 18 months to 6 years old.
You would work with two other assistants to care for our late pick up children. Monday thru Friday 2 : 15 PM-4 : 15 PM.
Duties
This individual must possess the following :
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate professional behavior toward students, families, and co-workers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a joyful and respectful school environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
- Maintain professional appearance, timeliness, and reliability.
- Respond to stress and conflict with professionalism.
- Excellent child supervision abilities
- Able to multi task and arrive on time
- CPR / First Aid Certified
- Energetic and have the stamina and flexibility to engage children on the playground, in the classroom, and on the floor
- Be able to withstand outdoor play in varying temperature
- Comfortable with diaper changing and assisting children in the bathroom
- Able to perform light housekeeping duties (vacuum, trash, sanitizing)
- Skills to manage children's behavior in a positive manner
- Comfortable creating weekly crafts and projects
- Able to lift approximately 25 lbs

Requirements
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Negative TB Test
- Right to work in the US
- E-Verify
- HS Diploma / GED or proof of enrollment
- 18 years +
- Clean Background
- CPR / First Aid Certification
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus!
