What's the role?
Staff Accountants are a key part of the accounting team responsible for supporting client relationships while providing basic audit and / or tax preparation services.
This role allows you to explore multiple facets of public accounting as you find your home in audit or business tax work. This includes :
- Preparing payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
- Preparing corporate and individual tax returns.
- Assisting with analyzing client financial records to identify potential accounting and auditing issues.
What experience and skills do I need to be successful?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
- CPA certification desired or ability to attain.
- Internship or accounting experience within a public accounting environment is highly desired.

What will my schedule look like?
We partner with firms that are serious about providing flexible schedules that support work-life balance. Being in the public accounting industry, schedules reflect the busy season of the tax industry January through May, and the rest of the year they embrace a quieter offseason.
Generally, you can flex the typical Monday-Friday 8a-5p schedule around any personal passions or family time as long as business needs are being met.
