Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced Emergency Nurse for Northern Virginias only Level 1 Trauma Center!

This role will support the unit on Weekend, late mid shifts Friday Monday, with consecutive shifts and small call rotation.

During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights).

ER Nurse Responsibilities :

Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

ER Nurse Requirements :

Experience : Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. 2 years Previous Emergency Department experience and Trauma ED preferred.
Education : BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
License : Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
Certification : BLS from American Heart Association
CEN / ACLS certification desired
Proficient in English.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
Proficient computer skills required.
