About the Role :
In this role, you will be responsible for the oversight of activities related to office services operations for the shipping and receiving team of a high tech clients Bay Area Operations.
This role is part of a wider account team
What Youll Do :
- Document standardized processes, and develop training on those processes and playbooks to ensure standard service delivery across the team.
- Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor.
Coordinate the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines.
Mentor and coach as needed.
Lead record keeping system. Ensure electronic and hard copy files are maintained under company policies and procedures.
Review annual destruction eligibility reports and destroy files that are past retention period.
- Coordinate on-boarding process. This includes new employee orientation, training, equipment, and software ordering.
- Coordinate team activities relating sustainability and client / employee events.
- Assist with the assessment and execution of technology and training needs.
- Maintain vendor relationships. Plan and supervise process improvement initiatives and act as a liaison to vendors, staff, and account leadership.
- Learn and work in multiple technical software platforms and applications.
- Answer common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors. Collaborate with other departments.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
- Apply knowledge of own subject area and how your discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately sophisticated issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What Youll Need :
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of proven experience. Instead of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Previous supervisory experience required.
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information. Convey performance expectations and balance problems.
- Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Extensive interpersonal skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidates education, training, and experience.
The minimum salary for the Office Services Manager position is $125,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Workplace Office Services Manager position is $130,000 annually.
The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience.
Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBREs applicable benefit program.
