Senior Accountant

Mission
The Senior Accountant is a key role within the Finance department, taking responsibility for general accounting and reporting functions.
This position reports to the Assistant Business Controller
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepares and analyzes balance sheet accounts reconciliations. Understand and solve pending items in the reconciliations.
- Interact with other departments to investigate and work in the root cause of anomalies.
- Variance analysis of key cost drivers.
- Ensure accuracy of entries to general ledger.
- Assist with the monthly close process and financial statements reporting.
- Internal controls : actively participate in policies and procedures implementation and improvement.
- Process and innovation : actively participate in process and systems improvements and development, including SAP implementation planned for upcoming months.
- Assist the year-end audit process including liaising with auditors as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
What we expect from you?
Experience
- 4+ years of previous experience in a related role
- Working experience with SAP
- Power BI knowledge and advanced Excel
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting or equivalent work experience
