General Laborer
M-F 2 : 30pm-10 : 30pm
Pay $15 an hour
Summary of Responsibilities : This position will be lifting, stacking, and moving material and pallets
throughout the designated area as assigned. Responsible for inventory management, shipping and
receiving.
Specific Duties :
o Set up and operate forklift safely
o Reports abnormal conditions of equipment to supervision
o Observes all safety rules and regulations and keeps work area clean and orderly
o Pay attention to continuous traffic of co-workers and cranes moving throughout the shop
o Moving raw materials such as steel plates, cut parts, and parts / material from outside shop
o Managing inventory in and out of the facility
o Set up and operate overhead crane safely
Job Requirements :
o Reliable / Dependable
o Current Ohio driver’s license
o High school diploma or GED
o Organizational skills
o Positive attitude
o Strong Mathematical Aptitude
o Strong Hand-Eye Coordination
o Open minded and willing to learn company process
o Willingness to work any shift
o Ability to follow instructions provided by supervisor
o Forklift experience preferred
o Shipping and receiving experience preferred
o Picking / packing experience - preferred
Physical Requirements :
o The ability to respond quickly to sounds
o The ability to see and respond to dangerous situation
o The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly
o The ability to sit continuously throughout the duration of the shift
o The ability to climb in and out of forklift
o The ability to stand continuously throughout the duration of the shift
