Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Shift Type : Days Shift Times : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM Hours / Day : 12 Shift Notes : 7 : 00AM - 7 : 30PM / 36 hours guaranteed / Must be willing to float to units where experienced Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend On Call Requirements : No call Job Description As part of a collaborative, dynamic, multidisciplinary team, the PCU RN provides direct patient care, delegating those interventions which may be performed by others, and takes a lead role in maintaining a safe environment for the rendering of effective nursing care. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN provides safe, effective, and compassionate care with a focus on restoring and promoting patient health and well-being, and partners with patients, families, and the care team in the planning and coordination of care. The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 23-bed inpatient unit serving a diverse patient population with acute medical and surgical needs, including those requiring advanced monitoring and assessment.
