We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Franklin, Wisconsin. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including both cloud and on-premises systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in enterprise environments, a strong focus on automation, and a commitment to ensuring security and scalability.

Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including Azure services, virtualization platforms, and enterprise network security.

Provide advanced support for Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud environments.

Develop and execute automation strategies using scripting tools like PowerShell to streamline IT operations.

Manage IT assets, ensuring proper tracking and compliance of hardware and software licenses.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and align IT solutions with business objectives.

Lead efforts to enhance IT infrastructure scalability, security, and reliability.

Mentor less experienced IT staff, offering technical guidance and fostering skill development.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT policies, procedures, and systems.

Implement and oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.

Participate in after-hours support for maintenance and emergency situations.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT systems administration, specifically in enterprise environments.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Windows Server, and Intune endpoint management.

Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

Expertise in PowerShell scripting and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Solid understanding of enterprise security frameworks and network security management.

Proven ability to manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
