Local Team Collaboration :

  • We are seeking hospitalists and nocturnists to join our close-knit team of ten physicians and two advanced practice providers (APPs), supported by a clinical performance nurse at St. Joseph London.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage various cases in a 150-bed hospital, focusing on complex cases in a semi-open ICU, benefiting from round-the-clock intensivist coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff and engage in key medical staff committees, including the credentialing and medical executive committees, to improve communication and patient care.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, APPs, and residents from Lincoln Memorial University, fostering a culture of learning.
  • Engage in weekly group huddles to discuss challenges, share updates, and ensure seamless collaboration across the team.
  • Work within a structured program divided into two daytime groups, with support from a dedicated nocturnist for night coverage.
