Position Details :
Director of Surgical Services- Port St Lucie, FL
Location : Port St Lucie, FL
Project Duration : Fulltime Permanent
What qualifications you will need :
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required
- Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred or equivalent combination of education and / or experience
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required
- Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
- Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred
Additional Information :
- 222 beds with expansion of 60 beds within 18-20 months
- 10 ORs
- 4 Robots : DaVinci XI, Mako, Rosa & a one that has a beam
- Very busy : Ortho, urology, Urogynecology, Gynecology
- Reports to Director : Manager, 1 CNC OR & 1 CNC for PACU, Pre-Op& SPD Manager
- Director oversees : OR, Pre-op, PACU, PAT, SPD& Endoscopy
- 92 FTEs total & 4 leaders
- Hospital is in the upper 25% of the division
- Director needs to be able to scrub or circulate if necessary
- Culture is : amazing staff
- The OR is staffed with a waiting list to work in the OR
