Job Description :
Supports testing and control of raw materials and finished product quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable government regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Provide first response and containment for supplier quality issues on the line
- Perform PPAP administration in Prism and follow up to ensure supplier compliance and communication
- Support scrap process at 3PL confirming scrap and writing tickets for approval from the department approver
- Create non-conformance reports for suppliers and issue charge backs per standard work
- Perform layered process audits within production
- Develop and maintain all quality records and documentation in accordance with established quality policies, regulations, standards, and customer requirements.
- Back-up Final Auditor for production floor.
Experience :
- 2-year Associates or Technical degree (preferred) or combination of education and related work experience (required).
- 2+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
Skills :
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and manufacturing quality tools.
- Written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, technical support, and employees.
Education :
- 2-year Associates or Technical degree (preferred) or combination of education and related work experience (required).
