Details :

  • 24 hour call coverage (7a-7a)
  • Setting : Inpatient
  • FTE : 1.0
  • Duties : inpatient general gastroenterology coverage
  • EMR : Epic
  • Support Staff : Hospital staff trained in GI.
  • Reason for coverage : 2 locums beginning 6 month break.

  • Census varies but is typically low, 6 pts has been the max and it only got that high once.
  • ERCP skills are not necessary pts can be transferred to a hospital where our group practices and has a physician to provide that service.
  • Gen GI procedural privileges and inpatient consults are what we are looking for currently.

  • Timeframe : about 2 months
  • Credentialing with other facilities? No
  • Board Certified Gastroenterology - REQUIRED
  • Active IA license - REQUIRED OR IMLC (LOQ IN HAND AT TIME OF SUBMISSION)
  • Gastroenterology Fellowship

    • REQUIRED

  • Must state availability for open dates listed in Job description - REQUIRED
  • Disclose if provider has worked at any other CHI / dignity facility - REQUIRED
  • COVID VACCINATED - REQUIRED
