Je bent in deze positie verantwoordelijk voor het naleven van milieu-, gezondheids- en veiligheidsvoorschriften (EHS) in onze Nederlandse fabrieken (Leerdam en Maastricht) en op het hoofdkantoor van de Benelux (Schiedam).
Een goede relatie met (lokale) overheden is nodig om de Nederlandse organisatie door de steeds veranderende regelgeving te navigeren.
Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor de jaarlijkse milieurapportages (e-MJV) en CO2-uitstoot (Europese ETS, Nederlandse CO2-belasting) en ben je een drijvende kracht binnen verbeterprojecten op de locaties.

De wet- en regelgeving rondom milieu en duurzaamheid zal de komende jaren veranderen. Denk aan regelgeving op het gebied van luchtemissies, CO2-emissies, energiebesparing, afvalbeheer en afvalwater.
Ben jij onze hoofdcontactpersoon voor overheden, bijvoorbeeld bij vergunningsaanvragen? De voortrekker en ondersteuner voor de lokale Health & Safety Managers?

Wat vragen wij van jou
- Ervaring met EHS in een manufacturing-, productie- of projectomgeving
- Kennis op het gebied van uitstoot van onder andere CO2, stikstof, afvalwateren of energiebesparing
- Sterke communicatie (schriftelijk en mondeling) in Engels en Nederlands
- Kennis van projectmanagement, sterke analytische vaardigheden en business-skills
- Vermogen om effectief samen te werken en besluitvorming te beïnvloeden binnen alle managementniveaus
Door)ontwikkelen en implementeren van EHS-beleid met de focus op Environment en Compliance
- Verbeterprojecten initiëren, ondersteunen en aansturen in de fabrieken
- Fungeren als contactpersoon voor (lokale) overheden, inclusief vergunningsverzoeken
- Langetermijnplannen maken voor de transitie van de fabrieken met betrekking tot milieuonderwerpen
- Ondersteun de fabrieken met lokale EHS-onderwerpen
- Wekelijkse, maandelijkse en jaarlijkse gegevens rapporteren, zowel intern als extern
- Opvolging van EHS-incidenten in de fabrieken (met lokale EHS-teams)
