job_description.job_card.job_descriptionFormatting quality plans, contract reviews, and launching new products to the floor Providing timely communication and delivery of test reports to customers Investigating and resolving quality issues by implementing corrective actions Developing and controlling inspection plans for molding and secondary operations Supporting and enforcing the ISO 9001 : 2015 management system Programming the CMM, Micro-Vu, optical comparators, and hand-held measuring equipment Assisting team with all quality tests Train, manage, and effectively lead team of quality personnel
Role : Quality Assurance Engineer
Location : South Bend, IN (Relocation $ Available)
Role Type : Full time
Requirements
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience within an injection molding environment
- Proven experience in testing plastics injection molding products
- Bachelor's degree or higher - (preferred)
- Experience with correction actions (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone etc.)
- Previous experience with internal and external ISO Audits
- Previous blueprint experience and GD&T knowledge
- FAI (First Article Inspection) & PPAP understanding
- Prior programming and use of PC-DMIS for CMM
Schedule : Monday to Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm
