Work Shift : Day
The Senior Clinical Nurse is responsible for assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care needs throughout the episode of care, with a focus on progressing toward discharge and transitions within the acute care stay.
This role includes implementing physician orders, administering medications, evaluating diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care for patients.
The Senior Clinical Nurse also collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients and ensures the delivery of competent and compassionate patient care.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
- Active NYS Registered Nurse license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- 1-3 years of clinical RN experience
- 1 year of Telemetry or ICU experience
