Job Summary : Our client is seeking an Account Manager to manage and retain B2B accounts while driving sales growth within existing accounts.
This role involves meeting and exceeding client expectations, offering / selling additional services, and ensuring high client satisfaction.
The Account Manager will provide field support, visiting 6 8 accounts per business day.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of assigned client relationships, including retention, expansion, and diversification of our client’s solutions.
- Formulate and manage effective service strategies tailored to each client.
- Negotiate and enter into agreements with clients for additional services, determining pricing, staffing, and logistics.
- Supervise and direct Night Compliance Operations Managers, ensuring client strategy execution and service quality.
- Promote the sale of non-janitorial services, negotiate contracts, and procure supplies for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients and contractors, promptly addressing and resolving any issues.
- Utilize our client’s CRM for client inspections, scheduling, and documentation.
- Maintain updated client information sheets, route sheets, and compliance documents.
- Assist in collecting past due invoices and ensure accurate payment processing.
- Participate in monthly IC paydays.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of success in a client retention role.
- Strong track record in achieving upselling / cross-selling goals.
- High school diploma required.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
- Positive and outgoing personality with strong relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
- Reliable transportation and daily travel to local client locations.
Preferred :
- 3-5+ years of sales and / or operations experience in building maintenance or facility management.
