Repair Technician

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and technical services, is seeking a Repair Technician to join their team. As a Repair Technician, you will be part of the Technical Services Department supporting the Block Repair team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title : Repair Technician Location : Red Wing, MN 4 month contract Hours : 1st shift : 10 hours day 4 days a week 5 am - 3 : 30 pm Pay Range : $25 to $35 p / h on W-2 depending upon experience What's the Job? Inspect and repair defective or damaged safety blocks to ensure quality standards are met. Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, then reassemble after repairs. Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections and ensure dimensional accuracy. Support non-conformances with product repair and source & manage inventory of repair parts. Participate in continuous improvement activities and uphold safety protocols at all times. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED or higher education. Minimum two years of experience working with blueprints and repair diagrams as an assembly aid. Trained and certified to repair six block styles, with completed OJT forms. At least one year of experience in Block Repair or Technical Services Repair department. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations. What's in it for me?
